Kevin Dodds Gallery & Studio Opening Dec 14, 2013

I am happy to be crossing one more item off my bucket list.  A new gallery in Ottawa is opening its doors for business on December 14, 2013 and has asked me to showcase my art.

It is located at 1101 Bank Street.  So if you are in the area, come visit the gallery.  I hear they have the best hot chocolate at Stella Luna's (right beside the gallery).  Kevin Dodds Gallery and Studio will be having a grand opening in Feb 2014 (will advise of all the details when I know more).

I am so excited to be a part of this venture.  Thanks so much to Barry, Chis and Kevin for the opportunity to showcase my art to a bigger audience.  It is much appreciated.

Marc Walter - A Sense of Space and Our Best Dam Art group show

Some photos from the Vernisage Friday June 28 from 6-8 pm
Marc Walter's exhibition A Sense of Space.
and the annual Pontiac Artists’ Association group exhibition Our Best Dam Art featuring artworks by PAA members.
Both shows continue until July 14.  The gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays, 11 am to 4 pm.

Some of my work.

 There was a great crowd.

Marc Walter telling us about the installation.  Quite interesting!

 Dale taking a look inside.
Here I am - not too many could stand in the installation.

After the vernissage - we went to Bateau Royale for a lovely supper.  First time I have eaten since the new owners.  Nice restaurant.

The self-guided tour is clearly marked with the Studio Tour’s signature blue and magenta brushstroke signs.

Residency Week Part 3

It was a fun and relaxing time at Sand Bay.  The view was spectacular and the food amazing.  Thanks so much to our hosts  Carolyn Correia and her husband.
They spoiled us with their ouside pizza oven (I had never seen one of these).
