A Great Sunday

What a great Sunday. Church, lunch, then a little trip out to see the ice-fishermen. Then on the way to spaghetti supper at St. Edward's seen some lovely cows who just love getting their photos taken. Before supper, seen a few sliders who were having a great time and then a beautiful little baby. Don't you just love tiny baby feet?

Vintage Snowmobiles

There was a vintage snowmobile rally in town yesterday. So cool. I didn't even know that Massey Ferguson or John Deere made a snowmobile. Brought back a lot of good memories - but we had cats. I asked one of the participants where they were going on the rally. He told me they were coming from Constance Bay and coming here - if they make it. lol Then they had a cool one at Gavan's and then back to Constance Bay. The gas tanks were a lot smaller on most of these machines. Someone at the local gas station said they filled up a father's machine and two of his daughter's machines for $25. She told me the new machines fill up for $50 for one machine.

Meet Stephen

I am trying to take a photo each day on 365 and was inspired by another photographer who takes photos of people on the street. I am going to try some more.

Here is my first:
Met Stephen Brown today. He sits on Slater street. He was happy to let me take his photo and asked me if I wanted his name. He told me he was on the front page of the Citizen when the buses went on strike a few years ago. He was upset because he couldn't take the bus to sit on Slater. He said, "This is how I make my living."

Everyday I walk by, he also has a smile and says have a nice day dear.

Showing my art at Festival Hall Gallery
