Fun at the Alpaca Farm

My sister and I had a wonderful time at a local Alpaca Farm in Bristol, Quebec. We read an article about it in the local newspaper and decided to call to see if we could go over and take some pictures. What a fun day! We met some friendly alpacas. lol

I really like hearing all about the alpacas and to find out that different parts of the fur are used for different items. They also had felts for inside your boots. All hypo-allergic and mites don't like the wool. Gail Graham, the owner, was very informative.

Thought I would show the progression of my first portrait. First I did a sketch in charcoal. Tomorrow I will start to paint.

Rosie

I have started the 365 Project and today I took this picture of Rosie, my kitten, but it didn't make the cut for the project so I thought I would post her at my blog anyway just cause she is so darn cute and I had already posted her on the 365 project already.
